Food Packaging + Closures

Food packaging and closures typically need excellent sealing, low extractables and long shelf life. In addition, manufacturers of food packaging and closures often require materials that are clear or brightly colored to attract consumer attention.

GLS offers 12 grades of Dynaflex soft thermoplastic elastomers (TPEs) that are NSF certified. All are certified for any type of food contact (including dairy) up to 212 F. Additional information about these grades can be found via the Product Search Wizard link at the bottom of this page.

Product Families

Dynaflex and Versaflex compounds are used for food contact applications requiring soft touch, good sealing performance and excellent appearance.
Versalloy compounds are high performance TPV alloys with enhanced flow and processability characteristics.
